I’m passionate about providing excellent care to the LGBTQIA+ community to ensure that we ALL thrive. I identify as a queer, lesbian, gender fluid, woman and hold a welcoming therapeutic space for all identities. I believe that therapy can help us evolve in our relationships with others and most importantly with ourselves, as we heal from shame and trauma that results in behaviors and mindsets that are limiting and unhelpful.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a broad range of experience in counseling. I have had the privilege of being a therapist since 2007. I received my masters in Social Work from Colorado State University. I have worked in a variety of settings including Community Mental Health Centers and Schools Districts. I believe that my education and experience as a Social Worker has helped to shape my holistic, intersectional and social justice oriented style of therapy.
I enjoy helping support clients in their journey of self-exploration and healing. I believe that through therapy, we can learn to love all parts of ourselves and truly thrive. I hold a warm and welcoming therapeutic space for all, in particular, those with marginalized identities.
I have an integrated approach to therapy and utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions tailored to each individual client’s needs. These approaches include: Humanistic, Client-Centered, Trauma Informed, Existential, Internal Family Systems Informed, and Cognitive Therapy.
I strive to create a safe and compassionate space for clients to address challenges they are facing and to inspire the process of self-exploration and growth. I believe that we are resilient and as we heal from emotional wounds, we allow our true selves to emerge and flourish. From a strong and grounded place of self, we are better able to navigate through life in healthy and more positive ways.
