Working with the LGBTQ community is one of my passions. It can be a struggle to feel seen, understood, and accepted by those around you.  This can lead to a sense of isolation, loneliness, and shame.  Many people experience wounds inflicted by friends, family, religious institutions, and societal expectations. Others simply are searching for a therapist with whom they can feel comfortable to be themselves and seek support for challenges they are facing.

When clients fully recognize how valuable they are and develop a deep sense of self-acceptance and self-love, it allows them to live their life in healthy and positive ways.

I also provide counseling services for friends and family members of individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+ who may be struggling with understanding or accepting a loved one.

I provide counseling for individuals who are interested in exploring how their their sexuality and spirituality can be integrated in healthy ways. Many people who identify as LGBTQ have been rejected and shamed by the church or other religious groups.  For many it is a struggle to hold on to their beliefs while being true to their sexual orientation.   This integration of faith and sexuality is possible and leads to wholeness and freedom.
